A Series Manta V8

This A-series Manta has come to us for metal repairs and the neccessary fabrication to mount a Lexus 4.0 V8 engine and transmission. We will also be looking into a stronger rear axle conversion to take the power.
The car looked ok a first glance (except the roof which has distorted terribly during previous repairs) although the blaster revealed a lot of skilfull filler work covering a multitude of sins. It's still a reasonable Manta shell though.
Below is the car during underseal/sound deadening removal, and then following media blasting and Zinc Phosphate priming.
The first thing we do is order a stack of repair panels from germany, then we get stuck in, starting with the 'a' panels. We also remove the complete front end at this stage as the repairs to this will be much easier with it detached from the car!
